By becoming a volunteer on this project, you will have the opportunity to join a team of passionate conservationists in their efforts to provide a safe haven for Borneo’s threatened orangutans.

The Matang Wildlife Centre serves as a temporary home for animals which have suffered as a result of mass deforestation and the illegal pet trade. Activities such as enclosure maintenance and enrichment each contribute to the orangutans’ care, and as a volunteer you will be instrumental in helping to improve their quality of life by lending your support.
