Program Overview
Tanzania Host Volunteer (THV) Animal Welfare project is a fantastic opportunity for volunteers to assist a local vet with treating a range of farm and domestic animals. Volunteers gain animal care experience while visiting farms and homes around Arusha to deliver and demonstrate animal care in action in a developing country.
Help assist a local vet with a variety of veterinary projects, while working with a wide range of domestic and farm animals. Support the team at the shelter with the handling and care of the strays. Provide medical care and training.
