Program Overview

The Spanish for Foreigners Summer Program at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) places you right in one of Europe's most vibrant capitals where learning Spanish goes beyond the textbook. This program, held each summer in Spain, is built for international students who want real progress in a real city.

Students spend 25 hours a week in active learning—split between Spanish language classes focused on everyday communication and cultural modules that cover modern Spanish society, history, and urban life. Two cultural outings per week take you into Madrid's museums, historic neighborhoods, and lively public spaces.

You can enroll in one or more of the three sessions, each matched to a specific proficiency level from A1.2 through B2. Earn up to 7.5 ECTS credits while building real Spanish language skills in context.
