Program Overview

Puente a la UAM is a full academic-year pathway program at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid designed to prepare international students to getting into a top Spanish university. Based in Madrid, this program runs from September 2026 to June 2027 and prepares you to meet UAM's admission requirements at the bachelor's or master's level.

The program combines intensive Spanish language instruction with subject-specific preparation, communicative workshops, and activities both on campus and in the city. Students are placed in a 14-hour-per-week language course based on their assessed level, working toward a B2 or B2/C1 Spanish proficiency by graduation.

Two tracks are available—one preparing students for the university entrance exams (PCEs) required for bachelor's degree admission, and another focused on advanced academic and research skills for master's degree admission.

Housing is not included in the tuition fee, but the Study Abroad Office helps students find residences, shared apartments, or host families.
