Frequently Asked Questions

What will the work schedule look like?

It depends on the type of internship you choose: part-time or full-time; and the working hours of the host organization.

Our standard program is full-time, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1 to 1.5-hour lunch break.

Based on your background and interests, you’ll be placed in suitable units or departments (Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Neurology, etc.), and you may have the opportunity to rotate weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Are there trainings before work?

ABROADER has a standard work culture session that provides must-know information: work hours; appropriate attire, manner and communications; tips to work effectively and Q&A. Interns will have a 1-hr Vietnamese language session to learn basic words.

At work, interns will be trained on the job when introduced to a unit/ department. Interns will work under supervisions of supervisors and only less dependent when interns are used to the work.

What is the dresscode?

You'll wear your scrubs to work. It can be bought in Vietnam or you brought yours. The hospital doesn't provide scrubs.
