St Pius / Volunteers Base is a vibrant educational and cultural volunteer hub in Tanzania. Guided by our mission, Education for Social Justice, volunteers contribute to teaching, administrative tasks at the school, and community support activities, while engaging with local culture and community life. Volunteers stay in homestays, enjoy organic meals from our garden, and experience a peaceful natural environment with meditation and prayer spaces. Volunteers also enjoy hiking and cultural tours under the supervision of well-trained and certified guides, gaining hands-on experience in education and community development.
