Teaching English Volunteer Program
Join St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation in Ghana and help address the ongoing need for native English speakers in both rural and urban schools. As a volunteer, you’ll be placed in underserved communities where your support is most needed—especially in rural schools that lack native English-speaking teachers. You’ll assist children in improving their English grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and comprehension skills, helping them gain confidence and fluency through practical learning. Work one-on-one and in small groups with primary and junior high students, offering focused support to those who have fallen behind academically. Your role is key in helping them reach their learning milestones. Teach in rural and semi-rural primary schools in and around local communities, focusing on children aged 4 to 16. Subjects include English (spoken and written), Maths, Creative Arts, Religious Education, Music and Dance, Entrepreneurship, General Knowledge, and Physical Education, including school-based sports programs.
