Dive into a unique, meaningful experience and profoundly impact impoverished rural communities in Ghana through the SMWEF Social Work Program. As a volunteer, you collaborate with experienced social workers and contribute to positive change in various settings such as schools, orphanages, social welfare units, community outreach programs, and child correction centers. This project is also open to interns. Embark on a journey of impactful change and explore how the program's initiatives blend meaningful experience and social impact, creating a lasting difference in underserved communities. SMWEF addresses critical local and African issues by providing sustainable services to communities in Ghana and investing in local economies and people. Your role primarily involves providing support and care to orphaned children. You collaborate with social welfare units to address community needs; join outreach activities to empower the local people; and contribute to educational campaigns. Comprehensive care and support for orphans and vulnerable children, including shelter, food, education, and healthcare; and Family strengthening programs to prevent child abandonment and promote family.
