Program Overview

The Pre-Physician Assistant Medical Internship program in Ghana with SMWEF is a structured clinical rotation and public health program designed to offer international students seeking hands-on medical exposure, clinical shadow hours, and cultural immersion. The PA program operates year-round in both public and private healthcare facilities and clinics settings, providing essential exposure to international healthcare delivery system. SMWEF Ghana Pre-Physician Internship program provides international students with vital clinical hours, direct shadowing, and global health experience to strengthen their PA school applications. Interns work from Monday to Friday with flexible durations of 5-6 hours a day 30 hours per week depending on the layout schedules at the hospital.
