San Juan, Puerto Rico | Liberal Arts in Advanced Spanish

Study liberal arts in advanced Spanish in San Juan, Puerto Rico, through a program designed for students who want deeper language immersion and academic engagement in the Caribbean. Students take advanced Spanish studies and directly enroll alongside Puerto Rican students in humanities, health, business, and other courses at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. The program is intended for students who have completed at least one year of advanced Spanish or the equivalent and are 18 or older before the program start date. Through coursework, conversations with native speakers, cultural exploration in San Juan, and meaningful service projects, students strengthen their Spanish while engaging with Puerto Rico’s history, communities, and cultural heritage.
