What is the start date?
Start and end dates are subject to confirmation of the examination timetable set by Cambridge International. As such, the course dates could be moved forward or backward by 1-2 weeks to ensure the examinations are covered. Please note that if this occurs, the start and end dates will fall on Mondays. We run this course twice a year, once starting in January and again in July.
Do I need a diving certification?
Scuba diving is a key part of the practical learning experience. If you’re not already certified, we offer PADI Open Water and Advanced courses as part of your A-Level to help you gain the skills needed for underwater fieldwork. If you are already certified, a discounted rate is applied to the cost of your A-Level course. Please get in touch with us for more information if you require it.
Who is eligible to enroll in the Marine Science A-Level course?
Our course is open to anyone passionate about marine science and eager to dedicate themselves to this intensive learning experience. If you’re a recent school graduate planning for university, someone considering a career change, or simply a marine enthusiast keen to expand your knowledge, you’re welcome to apply. While prior academic experience in science can be beneficial, it’s not mandatory; what matters most is your commitment and enthusiasm.
