Join us for a writing internship in responsible tourism. This is an ideal opportunity if you’re looking to improve your writing skills, learn about search engine optimization, and build your writing portfolio. You’ll be part of a small and dedicated team that places international interns with grassroots nonprofit organizations across the African continent. As a content writing intern, you’ll be an important part of the Roots team, as strong SEO-focused content is a key element of our strategy. You’ll spend most of your time writing web content and blogs that are creative, informative, as well as optimized for Google. On top of this, you might write content for external sites or publications, social media, and newsletters. You’ll have the opportunity to learn how to work with several online tools and systems for SEO research and analysis. Not unimportantly, you will have the marvelous opportunity to intern in the vibrant and stunning city of Cape Town! This internship is also available as a remote internship.
