Are you looking for a hands-on internship in organic farming? This is an exciting opportunity to do a permaculture internship in Malawi, a stunning country in Southern Africa. As an intern, you’ll be part of a small team providing permaculture training to teachers in a rural setting & you’ll have a hand in the further development of the program. It’s a great opportunity to put theoretical knowledge into practice, gain a thorough understanding of grassroots permaculture projects, & contribute to a worthwhile cause. Your role will be tailored to your skills & knowledge, so that you can have an optimum learning experience, and you’ll be guided by a team at all times. Your tasks will be: - Further developing the permaculture training provided to teachers - Assisting with the training courses on the ground - Assisting with developing the weekly permaculture program for children - Helping with specific projects happening at schools, such as small permaculture gardens You'll be lucky enough to stay at an idyllic location - a lodge on the banks of Lake Malawi with views of palm trees, green-blue water, & a relaxed vibe. This internship is also available as a remote internship.

Malawi has a diverse climate with two distinct seasons. From the months of November to April, there is what is known as the hot and wet season where you can expect high temperatures and abundant rain. From May to October, it’s the cool and dry season, with pleasant weather that is neither too hot nor too cold.
