Education Internship in Cambodia

Join a locally-founded NGO in Cambodia dedicated to serving the most impoverished communities of Siem Reap, and teach English Language classes from their community center. This program offers fantastic teaching experience, insight into curriculum development, and development in highly transferable skills. You’ll join an organization dedicated to combating poverty in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Their main focus is in the construction of proper housing and WASH systems in rural neighborhoods. You’ll be working as part of their community center where English language and Computer Literacy classes are held. In providing safe, secure housing, sanitation facilities, and education, the organization hopes to help break the poverty cycle and support its families on their journeys to self-sufficiency. Your role will involve you in the development of curricula and give you practical experience leading a classroom. You’ll be working closely with a team of local teachers to maintain and improve the standard of education offered at the center. This will include leading classes regularly, monthly meetings to assess progress, and you could take part in launching a new health education program.
