Program Overview

Join an organization making a difference for Cambodian children by helping break the cycle of poverty and gaining valuable marketing and communications experience. You’ll contribute to fundraising strategy, social media management, and liaising with NGO partnerships.

You'll work for a social impact nonprofit that works towards community uplift through 11 integrated programs revolving around the core offerings of education, nutrition, and health. REACH's holistic approach supports children from 5 to 18 years old whilst also offering outreach assistance to their families. Their aim is to provide children with a safe, educational space to grow, develop, find employment in adulthood, and break the cycle of poverty.

Your job as an intern will be to spread word of the important work the organization does to enlarge their donor base support. This is a dynamic internship that offers hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and fundraising. You’ll be involved with designing and executing fundraising campaigns, managing social media, and collaborating with NGOs.

Great experience

This roots internship in Cambodia was very nice. Roots and company helped me a lot to organize everything even including my accommodation before I arrived in Cambodia. As a communications intern, I've done many tasks, but the main focuses were creating content, writing posts, and photography. Since I'm currently studying communication, it was a great experience to apply the knowledge and skills I've learned from university so far to the professional field.
