by: Rooted Life Adventures

Rooted Life Adventures’ Australia Gap Year is a transformative 10-week intentional community for young women and non-binary individuals (ages 18 - 24) seeking adventure, growth, and deep self-discovery. With 24/7 support from a therapeutic coach, you’ll learn how to start a business from a female entrepreneur, complete an internship at a pottery studio, and gather regularly in creative, intentional spaces to dream, plan, and design your future. This program is filled with yoga, wellness, and meaningful group discussions—all while living together in a supportive home with a community of women. You’ll surf, snorkel with marine life, work from your laptop by the beach, and embrace the sand, surf, and sun as you help yourself come into alignment. Through these experiences, you’ll have an intentional glow-up, learn to trust your intuition, and figure out exactly who you want to become—living your best bohemian life while forging your own path.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a therapeutic or clinical program?

No, Rooted Life Adventures is not a clinical or therapeutic program. Instead, we provide a supportive environment led by a full-time, live-in coaching professional trained in trauma-informed practices.

We focus on fostering personal growth, developing healthy social skills, and creating meaningful adventures—without offering clinical treatment.

Moreover, our coaching approach is forward-focused, solutions-based, and prioritizes the "how" aspect.

How is my therapist involved?

Families invest significant time and care in finding the right therapeutic fit for their child, and we aim to honor and build upon that strong foundation.

From the very beginning of our program, each participant’s therapist is actively involved in the onboarding process. Together, we collaborate on goal setting and preparation to ensure a smooth and purposeful start.

Throughout the program, therapists continue to meet virtually with their clients.

How much does this program cost?

The 6-week program is $16,500 USD and the 10-week program is $25,000 USD.
