Restore Nature Uganda is a community-based environmental conservation project located in Jinja, Uganda. We are dedicated to restoring degraded landscapes, increasing tree cover, promoting environmental education, and supporting sustainable livelihoods through community-led conservation initiatives. Our program welcomes volunteers, students, interns, and environmental enthusiasts who want to make a meaningful contribution while experiencing authentic Ugandan culture. Participants work alongside local communities on activities such as tree planting, nursery management, environmental awareness campaigns, sustainable agriculture, and conservation education in schools. Jinja, known as the source of the Nile River, provides a unique setting where volunteers can engage in impactful environmental work while exploring one of Uganda's most beautiful and culturally rich regions. Volunteers have opportunities to learn about local traditions, community development, climate change challenges, and practical conservation solutions.
