Communication & Education Internship
Program Overview
RRFB is offering a specialized 6-month internship centered around communication, outreach, and education in marine conservation. This position provides hands-on experience in how a non-profit organization communicates science, engages communities, and inspires action to protect coral reefs.
During this full-time volunteer internship, you’ll work closely with our Communications and Education
teams to help share our story and connect people with our mission. You’ll also participate in restoration
fieldwork, including nursery maintenance and outplanting, to gain a full understanding of our restoration
operations and strengthen your ability to communicate our work.
This internship is ideal for creative, motivated individuals who enjoy writing, storytelling, and engaging
with people of all ages. Candidates should have strong communication skills, be confident public
speakers, and have a genuine passion for marine conservation. Photography and videography experience is a strong plus.
