Discover the incredible biodiversity of the Galapagos Islands as you learn from and support the local community.
Projects Abroad's conservation project is located at the Galapagos National Park. Here, you will get involved with a wide range of ongoing projects which may include habitat restoration work, monitoring sea lions, marine iguana and sea bird population surveys, beach clean-ups, and environmental awareness workshops in the local community.
Living on the Galapagos Islands also allows you to immerse yourself in a Spanish-speaking environment. If you are interested in improving your Spanish or learning the basics, you will be able to practice with locals.
