Here, you will get involved with a wide range of ongoing projects which may include habitat restoration work, monitoring sea lions, marine iguana and sea bird population surveys, beach clean-ups, and environmental awareness workshops in the local community. Living on the Galapagos Islands also allows you to immerse yourself in a Spanish-speaking environment. If you are interested in improving your Spanish or learning the basics, you will be able to practice with locals.
