Project Wings

Since its inception in March 2019, Project Wings has achieved numerous advances and goals. They have flourished strongly to date—thanks to volunteers, sympathizers, experts, and many supporters from Indonesia and Germany. The organization strives to constantly improve, optimize operations, learn from mistakes, and pool expertise and channel solutions with other enterprises.

They have now completed seven public buildings made of eco-bricks on and around the recycling village, with two more nearing completion, through their innovative construction approach. Over 220 tons of plastic waste have been collected, cleaned, processed, and reused. In collaboration with local organizations, as well as government support, Project Wings is building the region's first trash management system.

To date, over 35,000 trees have been planted, and animal welfare programs have been implemented. In Germany, Project Wings have engaged school children to support regional meadow orchards and environmental protection programs.
