Online TEFL Certification for Teaching English in Argentina
by Premier TEFL

Program Overview
To teach English in Argentina as an employee, foreigners apply to the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones for temporary residence as a migrant worker, backed by a preliminary contract signed with an employer in Argentina. Premier TEFL's online courses, starting with the 120 hour Accredited Online TEFL Course, prepare you for that classroom.
You start the application online in the RaDEX system, from inside Argentina, then attend an in person appointment. Migraciones asks for a valid passport, criminal record certificates, proof of address and a regular entry, and your employer must be registered with ARCA and with Migraciones. The UK government's travel advice notes that British tourists may visit for up to 90 days without a visa, but must meet Argentina's own requirements to work.
The 180 hour Government Regulated Level 5 TEFL Diploma, Ofqual reference 610/1572/6, is the best fit for Argentina, and the 120 hour course is the starting option.
Study self paced online with 24/7 access, tutor support, optional live Zoom classes, an instant digital certificate and lifetime job assistance. Enroll online and finish the course before you apply to schools in Argentina.

Can I teach English in Argentina while visiting on a tourist entry?
The UK government's travel advice says British visitors can enter Argentina without a visa for tourism for up to 90 days, and that to stay longer, or to work or study, you must meet the Argentine government's entry requirements. For employment, the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones offers temporary residence as a migrant worker to foreigners who come to Argentina to do lawful paid work under an employment relationship.
What documents does Argentina ask for in a migrant worker residence?
Migraciones asks for a valid passport, a criminal record certificate, a certificate from any country where you lived for more than a year in the last three years, proof of address and proof of regular entry into Argentina. Foreign documents need consular legalization or an apostille, and documents in other languages need a certified translation. Originals are required, and Migraciones may request additional documents during the process.
What does my employer in Argentina need to provide for my residence?
Your employer signs a preliminary contract with you that includes the details Migraciones requires, and the employer must be registered with both ARCA and the Migraciones registry for employers who hire foreign workers. Proof of your early registration with ARCA is also part of the file. Check that your school can supply each of these items before you accept an offer in Argentina, because the residence application depends on them.
How do I apply for temporary residence as a worker in Argentina?
You start online in the RaDEX system, the only channel Migraciones accepts for starting a residence application. You register, complete the form, pay the fees the platform generates and upload your documents, and you must be in Argentina to apply. If you are eligible, Migraciones emails you an in person appointment. The system shows the cost of the residence, the DNI and the criminal record certificate at the end of the first step.
Which Premier TEFL course is best for teaching English in Argentina?
The 180 hour Government Regulated Level 5 TEFL Diploma, Ofqual reference 610/1572/6, suits most people heading to Argentina. It is a recognized Level 5 qualification that employers can verify on the UK government register. The 120 hour Accredited Online TEFL Course is the starting option, and the 60 hour Level 5 Teaching Online One to One course adds a focused option if you also want to teach students online.
