Gambia Summer Literacy and Debate Program 2026 under the theme 'Building a Nation of Readers.' The project will promote literacy, creative writing, debate, journalism, and critical thinking among children and young people across The Gambia. Many children in The Gambia have limited access to quality books, reading programs, and creative learning opportunities. Without sustained literacy initiatives, many young people miss opportunities to strengthen reading comprehension, writing skills, critical thinking, and public speaking.
