The school provides an opportunity for international students to obtain pilot and instructor licenses in the USA. VISA F-1, M-1 The last stages of the Program contain (F-1 visa) a practical training component. Upon the successful completion of the CFI Course and getting rated, you may apply to get practice as a Flight Instructor. After getting your Diploma, the School can recommend you to post-graduation OPT (Optional Practical Training) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE ACCEPTED BY A PELICAN FLIGHT TRAINING : -You should be 18 years old -High School Diploma -Knowledge of English -Provide the school with proof of Funds.

Does the school provide sponsorship?

Our school does not provide a loan for study. BUT!!! We provide a letter about the cost of training in our school and the cost of housing. With this letter, you can go to the bank and get a loan for study.

What is the student accommodation?

Shared room with a closet and a shared bathroom.

The price is $ 750 USD a month.

We need to collect a 500 USD deposit, which is refundable.

The term of the lease can vary according to your preferences.

How about the visa?

At Pelican Flight Training (PFT), we welcome hundreds of international students each year on both M-1 and F-1 student visas.

How about the practical training?

After getting your Diploma, the School can recommend you to post-graduation OPT (Optional Practical Training), to help build your time to 1500 hours to the Airline Transportation Pilot Rating. 

What if I have pilot’s license?

If you possess a pilot’s license, send us a copy plus the latest page in your logbook listing up-to-date flight time.
