Grassroots conflict mediation at Kakuma Refugee Camp
February 15, 2026by: Enzo Belligoi - SpainI had a very positive experience collaborating with PDRI. I worked with PDRI in their efforts to mediate interethnic conflict, train future mediators and promote the Peace Center Project among the residents of Kakuma Refugee Camp. Throughout this experience, PDRI was by my side providing support and making sure I felt safe. Pascal and the rest of the team are really dedicated and hardworking and I was grateful for all they do. They promote peacebuilding, education for the youth in the camp, IT skills, social media, small business support, etc. I highly recommend volunteering with PDRI and encourage anyone who might be interested to contact the organisation.
Volunteering with an impact
February 09, 2026by: Kristina Heizenreder - GermanyThe team of PDRI are truly amazing! Everyone is really nice, tries to help you and is keen to speak to you and get to know you! I was welcomed very warmly and felt that everyone is taking care of me and my safety. I had the possibility to create my workshops as I felt was the right way. I was there for four weeks and felt that there was not enough work for me the whole four weeks so I had a lot of free time.
