Omni Med is a nonprofit public health organization based in Mukono District, Uganda, focused on strengthening community health through sustainable, locally led programs. Our Global Health Volunteer Program offers hands-on, community-based experiences for students and early-career professionals interested in public health and global health. Volunteers work alongside Uganda’s Village Health Teams (VHTs) to support health education, malaria prevention, water and sanitation initiatives, school health programs, and basic data collection. Activities may include community outreach, home visits, hygiene education, water source mapping, and assisting with VHT trainings.
