Program Overview
Our Generation Voluntary Organisation offers a volunteering or internship program for those looking to practice journalism. This provides participants with an insider's view on how print publications are run, as well as the opportunity to create an impressive portfolio to take back home.
A key democratic state of West Africa, Ghana has established itself as a source of strength in politics and has proven that there is always something worth writing about in this lively country. The official language is English, and the country is laden with stimulating events, histories, and significant photographic opportunities.
No formal qualifications or previous journalism experience are needed; we require our volunteers/interns to be adaptable, open-minded, and hardworking since internships can be demanding. We do ask that you send us a résumé in order to confirm your placement in the program.
