Materials Provision and Education to MVCs with Caregivers
Program Overview
This program will provide scholastic materials to the Most Vulnerable Children (MVC) and educate them and their caregivers about Health, Nutrition, and Life Skills. The program will be implemented in 38 primary schools in Ikungi District, Singida Region, Tanzania.
The OVCT members, accompanied by the volunteers, will visit the local government offices in the villages where the schools are located, meet with the MVCs and their caregivers, and inform them to attend the meeting with OVCT leadership, sharing this with the Local Government leaders in the concerned village.
The volunteers will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves, and then have a time of about 40 minutes to educate the children with their caregivers about the Skills which could help the children with their caregivers in fairly treating the Children, bringing them to school, loving the children, and even on the side of the children to listen to their caregivers or parents.
Usually, OVCT organizations identify and register MVCs in villages, support and educate them and their caregivers, and monitor their development.
