Immerse yourself in the South African bushveld with Nimble Drift, a unique 14-day experience combining horses, wildlife and conservation in Hoedspruit, Limpopo.

Set on approximately 3,000 hectares of African bushveld, volunteers experience life alongside horses and wildlife while learning from a team with generations of hands-on knowledge.

The programme includes horseback riding and horse care, wildlife veterinary exposure, conservation activities, wildlife monitoring and opportunities to observe game capture and real veterinary work as it occurs. Every day is different, shaped by the needs of the animals and the reserve.

Beyond the activities, volunteers become part of camp life, sharing meals, stories and knowledge while experiencing the rhythms of the African bush.

This is an immersive experience for those passionate about horses, wildlife and conservation who want to learn through real-world experiences rather than simply observe from a distance.
