Nature's Valley Trust

NVT is a South African conservation organization based in the coastal village of Nature's Valley along the Garden Route. Since 2000, we have worked to conserve biodiversity through applied research, environmental education, community engagement, and habitat restoration across marine, freshwater, and terrestrial ecosystems. Our programs address conservation challenges including biodiversity loss, pollution, climate resilience, and sustainable resource management, while fostering collaboration between local communities, government, universities, and conservation partners.

A key part of our work is developing the next generation of conservation professionals through immersive internship programs. By integrating interns into our ongoing research, education, and community conservation initiatives, we provide meaningful, hands-on experience that contributes to both professional development and lasting conservation impact.
