Physical Education – Co-Teacher & Coach
Program Overview
Gain hands-on experience in sports medicine and team management while immersing yourself in a new cultural environment. This internship or volunteer opportunity is ideal for aspiring athletic trainers seeking to work abroad. You’ll collaborate directly with local coaches, medical staff, and educators to design injury prevention programs, develop rehabilitation plans, and create strength and conditioning regimens for student-athletes.
Support physical education and sports science classes taught in both English and Spanish, helping to build your bilingual communication skills. As you engage with students and athletes, you’ll also sharpen your classroom and team management abilities, all while adapting to the unique expectations of Colombia’s sports and education systems.
This immersive experience not only strengthens your practical skills but also opens the door to long-term opportunities across Colombia and Latin America. Build a professional network, earn an in-country reference, and position yourself for future roles in the international athletic training field.
