Mangroves are powerful ecosystems - they shield communities from storms, store up to five times more carbon than other forests, and provide breeding grounds for fish and wildlife. Sadly, many mangrove areas are threatened by deforestation and pollution. As a volunteer, you will take part in hands-on mangrove planting, monitoring, and community awareness activities that directly restore degraded sites.
