Mente Argentina: Community Outreach Volunteer, Buenos Aires

Experience a completely new way of life by assisting in local community progress in an underdeveloped district without running water, paved roads, or basic amenities, located on the edge of Buenos Aires. Volunteers work with residents and organizations to boost the stability of the neighborhood, in what can be a challenging and intense circumstance.

Ideal participants for this program are passionate about a larger cause and dedicated to developing a deeper understanding about Argentina and Buenos Aires. Typical issues for the residents include access to food, good schools, and child care resources. Contribute to projects that will help change the lives of local people.

Volunteers will see their Spanish language abilities grow through daily use and being immersed in the culture. If participants would like additional training they may take advantage of the short class during the start of the program.
