This is your chance to make an impact in local communities while exploring ancient ruins, colorful markets, volcanic landscapes, and unforgettable flavors along the way.
Start with 1 week of meaningful volunteer work, choosing from 150+ locally run projects based on your skills and interests:
-Working with Kids
-Teaching English
-Construction
-Conservation
-Medical & Healthcare
Then, spend week 2 exploring Guatemala’s most iconic locations. Journey through the ancient Maya world at Tikal, explore the villages surrounding Lake Atitlán, experience the vibrant Chichicastenango Market, hike Pacaya Volcano, and taste your way through Antigua on a street food tour.
Your experience also includes 2 hours of Spanish classes each day during your first week, accommodations, and daily breakfast and dinner.

I chose a volunteer trip to Guatemala for 2 weeks via Maximo Nivel. My project was working on an eco farm that serves the community. The experience was amazing. I highly recommend!
