El Zonte, a small village divided by the mouth of a river, offers a relaxing atmosphere and is home to many local surfers. Outside of surfing, enjoy hanging out by the hotel pool, kicking back in a hammock, and taking in the ocean view. The week-long surf school package includes: – Airport pick-up in Guatemala City – Round-trip shuttle bus transportation (between La Antigua and El Salvador) – English-speaking, certified instructor – Surf equipment rental – 6 hours of professional surf instruction – 6 nights of housing Depending on field conditions and travel logistics, the surf school is sometimes moved to the well-known El Paredon surf destination on Guatemala’s Pacific coast, with uncrowded, black-sand beaches, easy waves, and great instructors.
