Marine Conservation Cambodia

Marine Conservation Cambodia (MCC) is a community-based NGO dedicated to protecting Cambodia’s marine ecosystems. Since 2008, MCC has combined scientific research, conservation action, and strong community partnerships to safeguard the ocean while supporting sustainable livelihoods for coastal families. Our operational base is located on Koh Ach Seh in the Kep Archipelago, where we run year-round conservation and research programs. At MCC, protecting the ocean begins with understanding it. We identify key threats, study marine ecosystems, and work closely with local fishers, government officers, and coastal communities to develop practical, locally relevant solutions.
