Program Overview
The four-week programme for college students aged 18+ delves into the business of football in partnership with one of the world's most successful football clubs, Manchester City. In this unforgettable summer study experience each of the fundamental aspects of the game will be explored through four modules. These are: Foundations of the Global Sports Industry, Cross-Cultural Leadership & Strategy, Financial Management & Marketing and Innovation, Legacy & The Future of Sport. The programme will be taught through lectures, workshops, tutorials and visits, which will examine real-world case studies and bring students into contact with industry professionals from Manchester City Football Club and beyond. Students should expect to gain a highly developed understanding of how football operates beyond the pitch, making it suitable for anybody interested in a career in the sports business.
