Complete an internship at a company established in 2006 as an independent continental body. They also work towards bringing strong African voices to the development agenda. Their vision is of an African continent rapidly achieving its development potential, whose people live in dignity in a just society where basic needs are met, human rights are upheld, and good governance is entrenched. This is a challenging position exposing the intern to a wide variety of knowledge areas while carrying out a variety of tasks, including: - Developing and implementing a media, communication, and marketing plan to popularize the mobile platform - Supporting the media and advocacy work to ensure that emerging perspectives from the youth play a role in driving the African post-2015 development agenda - Developing and using social media platforms, and developing and disseminating content - Providing radio content outputs for use by community and mainstream radios Eligibility for this program includes: - Studying towards a degree/diploma in Social Sciences/Human Rights/Political Science or a related area - Good communication skills
