Volunteer and Travel in Vietnam

For intrepid travelers with a desire to ‘do good,’ this volunteering travel program delivers. Based in action-packed Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this will be an experience of a lifetime! The two-week program (which can be extended) spends weekdays helping others, while weekends are spent exploring this cultural wonderland. Participants can choose from a variety of volunteering activities with the same mission – enriching the lives of others. Placements could include working with children, assisting the elderly, or helping in a school.

Alongside volunteering, participants receive a customized activity plan with daily cultural workshops, a local cooking demonstration, and dinner with a local family. Optional weekend excursions include must-see destinations: the picturesque Mekong Delta, a vast maze of rivers and islands with floating markets, Khmer pagodas, and rice paddies; and Mui Ne, a traditional fishing village on a stunning beach that’s fast becoming a popular tourist destination.
