The area has a huge issue with stray animals or abandoned pets, primarily involving dogs and some cats. The difficult economic and social situation has forced people to focus on their needs and neglect their pets. This often results in starvation and sickness. An animal rescue and rehabilitation center was established to address this ever-growing problem. The center is a pro-life, non-profit organization that rescues, cares for, and sterilizes stray dogs and cats, with the hope of eventually finding them new homes.
