Medical internship assignments are based in a large hospital in South Delhi, an area close to some of the best shops and markets in the city and just 15 minutes from the volunteer house. Interns are paired with a local doctor, nurse, or other medical professional throughout their placement. While the internship is mostly observation-based, they have the opportunity to shadow and give basic assistance to patients.
