The mission of this crucial program is to help provide quality medical care to underprivileged communities. Facing a multitude of health issues, many local Nepalese are suffering. There's also an ongoing need to mobilize health workers. Thus, Love Volunteers partners with a busy city hospital in Pokhara, and volunteers may attend free health camp outreaches in impoverished villages in the region. This program is open to healthcare practitioners with relevant experience and education and medical and pre-med students. Volunteers are paired with resident Nepalese doctors and nurses to observe and shadow. They may also assist with patient care, depending on skills and training.
