Texas Zoo Management

This trip was such a joy. The knowledge that is given and then supported with the zoo made everything better. It made me feel comfortable working with the animals like I never thought I was possible. Thank you, Loop Abroad!

Loop Abroad gave me an opportunity in life, a chance in the vet world and a chance to meet great friends. Even though I won't see them anymore, I'm glad I met them and got a chance to meet new friends and find my way in the vet world

This program was a special experience to me in many ways. I got to experience what it's like to be independent from my caretakers, and got to better understand the career I'm moving towards. I got to interact with both people and animals I like, and was treated just like any other adult. I learned so much from this experience, and I can't wait for the next opportunity to pop up.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Indiana. The Loop Abroad staff and center were all so nice and helpful. I learned so much and made great connections! Definitely want to do another trip with Loop Abroad.

My program helped me better understand animals in captivity and the importance of enrichment. As well I developed personal connections with people that share the same plans as me. I created bonds that will last a lifetime!

Loop Abroad introduces you to a diverse group of people that challenge you to approach life in new ways. You get a great opportunity to network while learning. You get experiences you'll never get again, and learn so much about your trips' topics and life lessons.

This study abroad program was totally incredible! The teachers and my peers were so wonderful. I learned a ton and feel great about my next steps into vet-med, thanks to this program having taught me about the field.

The goals set for our enrichment projects made the program super motivating. Focusing on a goal applying what we have learned is incredible. An amazing way to provide an example applying the things we have learned.

This was a great first step into getting into Loop. Feeling out both the zoo and vet side was very informative. I loved getting hands on experience in both the zoo and vet side through labs and enrichment design.

I recommend this program to anyone who loves to learn. The staff is incredible and the experience is incomparable. The opportunities given were very hands on and I learned more in this week about vet medicine than I have all year.

This Loop Abroad trip let me learn more about exotic animal husbandry, medicine, and conservation. I loved all aspects of the program and have made lifelong friendships as well as taken away valuable knowledge for my future career! My advice for people hesitant about traveling somewhere new is to just do it!

This program opens your eyes to so many opportunities and experiences that you can't get anywhere else. This program makes you rethink how a zoo is run and all the hard work and dedication the zookeepers put into the animals, enclosure, enrichment, and students (like Loop Abroad) and guests.

My experience a the Texa Zoo was wholesome, fulfilling, memorable, and a lifetime of friendships I could never forget. My education is even broader now that I have spent my time learning zoo management. I will never forget how plentiful this journey was.

I had a great time because of all the activities, even the fun ones after dinner! I really enjoyed that my leaders helped me when I didn't understand. I feel like I made aluable professional and personal connections. Also really enjoyed the beach!
