During this two-week internship in tropical Belize, you will participate in clinical nursing rotations wherein you shadow Belizean nurses and medical professionals. Spend a week shadowing nurses at hospital facilities in San Ignacio and another week with community health workers from surrounding towns and villages. Develop an understanding of Belize’s health system, gaining an appreciation for what it means to be a health worker in a different social and cultural context.
