Community Health Nursing Clinical Internship

This trip was so eye-opening to me. It gave me the opportunity to learn about another culture and myself in so many different ways. The staff took great care of us and made sure to show us all the popular spots around Belize!

This trip showed me more than the clinical side to medicine. It showed me the care and support of community is a part of healing. We were quickly adopted into the caring community and I hope to bring that into my own practice.

This trip has completely changed my life. It has changed my perspective on healthcare and life in general. The staff is amazing and they make the trip so memorable. This was the experience of a lifetime. I would recommned it to everyone.

My time in Belize helped me grow in my future career as a nurse. Seeing Belize's health system opened my eyes to the unique way other countries treat patients. I am amazed at the teamwork and resilience of the doctors and nurses, and will take many nuggests of wisdom back with me to the US.

This trip was an amazing learning experience and has opened my eyes to reality. I formed genuine connections and meet so many amazing people. Belizeans are very warm people! I've gained wonderful global knowledge from this trip.

This internship allowed me to gain knowledge and experiences I never could have gotten elsewhere. Learning about the healthcare system and being able to go into the villages was truly life-changing. On top of all that, I met the most amazing people that I will be friends with for many years to come!

I have always been interested in global health and Belize was the perfect place to expand my knowledge and perspective of diverse cultures in healthcare. Everything within the program from the clinicals, staff, food, and fun activities was perfect. The memories and lessons learned will last a lifetime!
