Program Overview

Experience immersive English learning in the heart of Dublin, Ireland, an English-speaking country in the EU with Liffey College’s Year‑Round General English Study & Work course. Designed for international students, this full- and part-time program develops your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while offering opportunities to gain practical work experience.

The program includes placement testing, continuous progress assessments and a final TIE exam, ensuring your learning is structured and measurable. You’ will also enjoy language clinics, cultural activities and career support workshops with optional IELTS preparation and additional language classes at no extra cost.

Eligible full-time students can work part-time (20 hours/week) during study periods and full-time (40 hours/week) in certain holiday weeks, earning real-world experience and pocket money. From January 2026, the minimum wage is €14.15/hour. Join a supportive, international environment and build the skills you need to succeed academically, professionally and socially in Ireland.

Year-Round & Flexible Study: Start anytime. Morning classes Mon–Thu (9:00–13:00) afternoon classes Mon–Fri (13:45–17:00) with optional IELTS prep and extra language courses included.

And, Liffey College provides student fee protection (PEL). All full-time international students receive a protection policy through a third party. In line with the Protection 

Can non-EU students study at Liffey College and work while studying?

Yes, Non-EU students can enroll in full-time, ILEP-approved Liffey College courses and work part-time (up to 20 hours/week) during term and full-time (40 hours/week) during holidays, in line with immigration rules.

Does Liffey College offer flexible study schedules?

Yes. Morning classes run 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday, from 09:00 to 13:00. Afternoon classes run 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 13:45 to 17:00. These schedules help students balance their studies with part-time job opportunities.
