Literacy and Social Inclusion Project Officer – Cameroon
Program Overview
In Cameroon, we collaborate with women’s organisations committed to fighting inequality. Illiteracy being a major barrier to empowerment, we have established literacy workshops for women aged 16 to 60—a crucial step toward their independence and the success of their entrepreneurial projects. The women benefiting from our programs have often never attended school or did not complete primary education. Some do not speak French fluently and come from English-speaking regions.
