A German guy says: !Muy bien! Excelent!
I went to Uruguay as a pensioner (60 years) from Germany. At the beginning I didn't know Spanish. I was assigned after a test to a small group (4 people) that had my level. The teaching (I was a teacher myself in Germany) was didactically first class. I felt very comfortable from the beginning. This was also true for my classmates from the other countries. To this day (even though, except for me) the others have returned to their home countries, we still have an intensive exchange via social media. Since I stayed longer and came at the beginning of the pandemic, it was refreshing how quickly "La Herradura" offered a professional online learning program, which I used a lot. To this day, I still have a lot of contact with 2 teachers, but also the female director. Sometimes we meet in a bar or I visit "La Herradura". PS. English is not my preferred language. I was unclear in which language the evaluation has to be done. Therefore in the language I learned at La Herrdura: Thanx for all - Jürgen +++Fui a Uruguay como pensionista de Alemania.

Response from provider
Dear Jürgen, Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It makes us very happy to know that your time at La Herradura was such a positive and meaningful experience — both during your in-person stay and later through our online program. We truly value the connection we’ve built with you over the years and it’s wonderful to hear that friendships made at the school have continued beyond the classroom. Students like you bring great energy and warmth to our community, and it’s always a pleasure to stay in touch. Un abrazo grande from all of us at La Herradura — we look forward to seeing you again soon, whether at the school or for a coffee in Montevideo! Warm regards, La Herradura Team
