Program Overview

Spend 4 or 8 weeks in Gangjin, South Korea, sharing your time, talents, and everyday moments with children at a local child welfare facility.

From fun English lessons and creative activities to helping with homework and playing together, you’ll find many ways to make each day meaningful. Whether you enjoy art, music, sports, or simply spending time with children, you can share what you love and help make learning a little more fun for them.

You don’t need to be a professional teacher. A little patience, an open heart, and a willingness to get involved can go a long way. As you encourage the children to try new things and discover their interests, you may find yourself learning just as much from them.

Outside the activities, you’ll have the chance to experience life in Gangjin, a peaceful town in southern Korea known for its natural beauty and rich local culture. With accommodation and local support included, this is an opportunity to connect with others, discover a different side of Korea, and take home memories that mean something.
