Wildlife Conservation Volunteering in Brazil

Volunteer in the Bodoquena Highlands region, where you’ll support wildlife conservation and community outreach activities. The project monitors wildlife, including the peccary population—medium-sized hoofed, pig-like mammals—of the Pantanal region. It assesses the factors influencing animal movements in the area, which is currently under threat due to illegal hunting, mining, and expansion of soybean plantations.

As a wildlife conservation volunteer, you’ll help in numerous activities led by local scientists.
