This is an ideal internship opportunity abroad if your passion lies in social services, human rights, female empowerment, or fighting sexual exploitation. The Support the Survivors of Gender-Based Violence and Human Trafficking program in Quito partners with a nonprofit that focuses on female adolescents who have been victims of sex trafficking in Ecuador. The organization works with the government, receiving rescued girls and providing them a safe shelter.
