Sports and Community Volunteering in Zambia

Participate in a sports and community volunteering project in Zambia with Kaya Responsible Travel. Spend your time training, guiding, and working with soccer teams in Livingstone, as well as providing physical education in schools. As part of the project, you will also train teachers to encourage involvement from them and continue the work after your placement ends. Apart from the actual sports training and rule learning, you will also hold team-building exercises and teach basic hygiene and health.

You don’t need specific skills to join this volunteering project. However, you need lots of enthusiasm and energy to keep up with energetic youngsters. You also need good communication skills to manage classes of up to 50 children. If you have any particular interests or skills you wish to use, we would love to accommodate them. Equipment is difficult to come by so if you’re able to acquire donated sports equipment, the community will greatly appreciate it. You need to submit your CV/resume before being accepted onto this project.
